Krazy Fish is located in Plaza Midwood and offers just that, a crazy experience. The creativity doesn’t stop with the decor; the menu is an eclectic collection of dishes with everything from tacos to grits (a must-try!) to pad Thai. The description “soul seafood fusion” is spot on.
With so many options to choose from, we started our meal with local beers and calamari. The calamari came highly recommended from our server and it did not disappoint.
There were about 20 kinds of tacos to choose from and since I couldn’t mix and match, I went with the brisket tacos.
My husband ordered the Pad Thai. Normally, I’d go against getting “Thai food” from anywhere but a Thai restaurant, but again, Krazy Fish did not disappoint.
The service was fantastic. Our glasses were always full, our plates were cleared promptly and we never had to wait on that next beer to arrive.
There was plenty of seating on a Friday night and the high booths made dinner somewhat private. While there is a bar with TVs, the place itself isn’t filled with TVs, so you can have a meal and enjoy your party’s conversation without interruption.
I’m excited to go back now that the weather is warming up and look forward to enjoying dinner outside. I always thought the menu looked interesting and I am so glad we decided to give it a shot. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood!
